2007年4月，Corel执行总裁David Dobson宣布已经以1.96亿的交易价格成功收购InterVideo，由於InterVideo现在手里掌握著大部分的Ulead股票，这宗收购案的成功也就意味著Corel将一次买下InterVideo和Ulead，这样Corel将同时拥有WinDVD，WinRip，PhotoImpact，DVD Movie Factory等等著名的软件品牌。
Corel会将Ulead（友立）和 InterVideo的产品线添加到现存的数码成像产品系列中，将补充数码媒体软件的不足之处，范围可囊括图片共享和图形编辑软件的乃至更为先进的数码成像、视频编辑、高清DVD制作软件。

Corel公司以CorelDraw闻名於世，其它的著名产品还包括之前收购的绘画大师Painter、压缩老将WinZip、照片处理Paint Shop Pro等等。
Ulead（友立）以易学易用的软件见长，比如我们耳闻能详的绘声绘影、COOL 3D、Photo硬派、DVD拍拍烧等等。友立之前被InterVideo购并，因此Corel的这次收购也包含该公司。
